Black and tan Grosspudel

Ella ist der erste Welpe von mir, der die Schweiz verlassen hat. Lene aus Norwegen züchtet Curly horse und hat mich deshalb schon mehrmals besucht. Dabei hat sie sich in Phantom verliebt und da sie auch Allergikerin ist, konnte sie auch gleich bei jedem Besuch testen, ob es auch mit ihrer Allergie funktionieren würde. Sie hatte niemals eine Reaktion, obwohl unser Haus ja wirklich voll von Hunden ist und sie jeweils ein ganzes Wochende darin verbrachte. Somit wartete sie auf ihre kleine Phantom Hundin seeeehr lange. Denn da sie vom Herzen her eine Züchterin ist, wollte sie natürlich ein Mädchen. Somit könnte sein, dass Ella die erste Black and tan Grosspudelzucht von Norwegen begründet ! Sie hat ein absolut geniales, freies, fröhliches, sicheres und offenes Wesen - eigentlich sollte man so eine süsse Hündin gar nicht gehen lassen ;-) ! Die Reise verlief problemlos: wir haben Ella mit Lene nach Zürich zum Flughafen gebracht und sie hat dann auch im Flugzeug auf dem Schoss von Lene geschlafen. Nach 2 1/2 Stunden sind sie dann gut in Oslo angekommen. Jetzt darf sie im Schnee (ja in Norwegen hats noch Schnee) mit Lene rumtoben und danach schläft sie dann friedlich neben Lene auf dem Stuhl. Schon hier ist sie ihr auf jeden Tritt gefolgt und hat schon Sitz und Platz gemacht - schon fast unheimlich - so harmonisch. Hier die erste Nachricht:
Hi Sandra, what a fantastic little dog Ella is! She was so calm on the trip, just a little afraid at takeoff and landing with all the sounds and shaking, I had my hand down in her cage and was petting her. The rest of the time she was laying in my lap like you see in the picture. She had some water and ate a little feed.

Customs clearance went well. Car trip home went well, she was laying in my lap calmly all the way. As soon as we were outside the airport area we stopped and walked her on the grass so she had a pee.

She slept in the her big cage this night with Alf sleeping on the sofa beside her, keeping her company. She woke him up early when she needed to go out and pee.

She looks a little bewildered to be in a new home with new people, but is calm and sleeps good and also plays a little.

She has been outside on a lead several times today. Now the snow is almost gone and Alf will continue making a fence around the garden (he started last year), so she can go inside and outside like at your place :-)

I was going to email you the pictures. Oh my, it was really hard to
recognize Ella after the clip. She went from looking like a big terrier
puppy to become an elegant young adult poodle lady! Incredible! It was a
friend who has a poodle that helped me with the clip. I bought a Moser Max
45. Ella was very good with the clipping. She has a good appetite for meat
balls so it is possible to keep her attention for a long time :-)

I DO think she became very poodle-looking so I think I will leave more hair
on her face and legs next time ;-) But now it is warm and good for her with
the short coat. I clipped the whole body with the 13 mm comb on the clipper.

We love Ella very much, she is a very very nice dog, everybody says that she
has a very good temperament. Alf and Sam has taken her on a trip to western
Norway for several days and she is behaving perfectly at new places, long
hours in the car doesn't matter to her, she is happy to go wherever we go.
